Welcome to the Class of 1957 Reunion
Dear Classmates,
Ten years ago, a letter containing the following excerpt was sent to the alumni class of 1957:
“How wickedly Father Time smiles at us. First he gives us endless summers and then he slyly shortens them to blinks of an eye. Next year, 50 summers will have passed since we left EMC. But we can smile back,—by celebrating those 50 years at our golden reunion, September 27 to 30, 2007. ‘Celebration’ is the key word and should set the tone for related activities….”
Now, a decade later, the message is much the same, except for the times and dates. For 2017, our 60th alumni anniversary will be from September 28 to October 1. Adell Haughey Claypool has graciously agreed to contact our cohorts and keep them apprised of any developing plans for our reunion.
So mark your calendars now; arrange all your emergencies to happen at other times, and plan to smile with all of us at our homecoming this coming September.
