Director, Programs & Service Development
1. The Director, Programs & Service Development must be resourceful, innovative and possess strong business and human services management skills.
2. This position will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of Homecare, Adult Day, Link and Safe Shelter Services, including:
a. Planning, organizing, and implementing activities to meet or exceed the goals and targeted outcomes in all strategic/ business plans and grants/contracts associated with assigned programs.
b. Researching and developing opportunities to expand existing and establish new programs and services based on annual goals.
The requirements listed below are the minimum demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to perform the Director of Programs & Service Development duties and responsibilities successfully.
a. A master’s degree in social work, (LMSW preferred); business administration, public administration or similar discipline and three years of demonstrated effective business management experience OR
b. A bachelor’s degree in the disciplines listed above with six years of demonstrated effective business management experience.
c. Ability to be flexible and manage time in a manner to complete multiple duties and tasks correctly and on time without being prompted.
d. Ability to use Information Technology, including the internet, social media, and word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and data base software applications.
